Come early if you don't mind waiting at least 20+ minutes in line during a winter weekday for the best Margarita pizza in the world.

It's the best margarita pizza I've ever tasted. The neighborhood looks scary, but the pizza tastes amazing.

I came to Naples just for this pizza, then I left Naples! I was lucky enough to come right before the line started at 11am, I got seated right away with a baby stroller. They have many steps inside to get to different rooms so you will need to lift your stroller for that.

Their wood fire pizza is cheap, large and is shareable between 2 people. They only have one kind of pizza which is the margarita pizza. It is uncut so use your utensils if you don't want to get messy. It is soggy. It was not my favorite type of pizza but the experience is worth it.
Water is not free so I would just bring your own inside. This is meant to be a quick eat and leave establishment.

Don't hesitate and just come here.

I was misled by so many of the reviews that claimed they hardly waited. I shouldve known better when we arrived on 12/30 at 2 pm and there was at least 30 people crowded outside.

We went in & got blue 59. After waiting an hour in 50 degree weather & 20 mph winds, I went in to ask for the status and in broken English was told they were at white 50 and had to get to white 99 and then start the blues. Basically, wait another 2 hours. I was so upset to see inside that there were 6 empty chairs and 1 was occupied by a giant handbag. WTF?!

The seating/number system is complete bullshit. The pizza, however, is worth the hype. As Napoleon as it gets! Granted, this was our first time in Napoli and our first meal here. We came from Rome and the pizza there wasn't as good. We also heard of this place on so many media sources.

Bottom line: if there is more than 10 people in line, surrender your number & take it to go! After an hour of waiting, that is what we did & took it back to our hotel. Order 1 pizza per person!

Would anyone would pay the $5.50 for this pizza in the USA? 18 inch diameter, uncut, soggy crust with one (1) basil leaf to add zing?

No way. But you're not in the US, Dorothy! This is precisely what pizza in Naples is supposed to be. And take a number for shared table seating!

Yes, it's worth it! The pizza crust is caramelized without being burnt and the sauce on the marinara is to die for! Go as soon as they open (or earlier) and you won't have to wait as long. However, I went in November when it was lower tourist season and we waited maybe 5-10 min around opening time. So good!
